Pediatric Psychologist in Atlanta & Online

Camino Pediatric Psychology & Consulting offers specialized psychological care for children, adolescents, and families navigating medical conditions, neurological injury, and complex emotional challenges.

Led by Dr. Alexis Quinoy, a board-certified clinical child and adolescent psychologist with more than a decade of experience caring for children and families in pediatric hospital and rehabilitation settings — this is care for families who need more than a general therapist can offer.

Collaborative consultation with schools, physicians, and other providers to make sure your child's emotional and developmental needs are fully supported — not lost between appointments.

Consultation &
Care Coordination

You don't have to find your way through this alone.

You already know your child needs more than what they've been getting — you've felt it in appointments that didn't quite address it, in explanations that missed the point, in the space between what the doctors treat and what your family is still carrying. Your child is more than what they're going through.

Meet Dr. Alexis Quinoy

Licensed Psychologist & Board-Certified Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist, PhD, ABPP

Dr. Alexis Quinoy founded Camino after more than a decade working with children and families in pediatric hospital and rehabilitation settings — including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta — where she saw firsthand how much families needed specialized psychological support long after the hospital stay ended.

She holds a PhD in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and is one of a small number of pediatric psychologists board-certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (ABPP). Her work focuses on children navigating medical conditions, neurological injury, chronic illness, anxiety, and major life transitions — and she offers bilingual services in English and Spanish, serving Atlanta families and those throughout PSYPACT participating states.

Dr. Quinoy is also an injury prevention advocate and researcher whose work has focused on firearm injury prevention and intervention. Outside of her clinical work, she's a reader, a traveler, and a mother of three — which is to say, she understands what family life actually looks like.
